
Download Photos for Classroom Use
Why download images?
You can use images to create a variety of classroom activities:
- Teachers can use the pictures
to pre-teach the story or as discussion prompts
- Students can use the pictures
as prompts for retelling the story (orally or in writing) in their own words
How do I download images?
Use these instructions to download pictures for any of REEPworld’s Family
English stories. It may help to print these instructions for easy reference.
- Right click
on the image you want to download.
- Choose “Save
image as…” from the pop-up menu and save the image to
a file where you’ll be able to find it (e.g. My Pictures)
- Hint: You can
rename the file so that the filename is easier to recognize, but
be sure that the filename retains its “.jpg”
file extension.
- The photo is now
yours; from here, you can insert the image into a Word document or
a PowerPoint document (by going to the menu and clicking Insert--> Picture-->
From File...)
